Exciting K - 2nd Grade Field Trip Announcement!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting adventure for our young scholars at Wellington Collegiate Academy! On October 12th, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, our K-2nd grade students will embark on an unforgettable field trip to the Palm Beach Museum of Natural History. The highlight of the day? A captivating tour of the museum's fascinating exhibits from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

At the Palm Beach Museum of Natural History, your child will step into a world where science and wonder collide. This immersive experience promises to ignite their curiosity and open their eyes to the marvels of the natural world.

What to Expect:

1. Engaging Exhibits: From prehistoric fossils to interactive displays, the museum offers a hands-on exploration of our planet's history and biodiversity.
2. Educational Adventures: Our young learners will have the opportunity to ask questions and discover answers as they delve into the mysteries of the natural world. Knowledgeable guides will be on hand to provide insight and encourage curiosity.
3. Awe-Inspiring Fun: From dinosaur skeletons to vibrant dioramas, there's something to capture the imagination of every child. This experience will ignite a love for learning that will stay with them long after the field trip ends.

• Date & Time: October 12th, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with the guided tour taking place from 10:00 AM to approximately 11:30 AM.

• Attire: Please ensure your child wears their WCA field trip Tee and comfortable walking shoes for this adventure. Don't forget a water bottle to keep them refreshed!
• Lunch: Please pack a nutritious lunch for your child. We will provide a designated area for lunchtime.

This field trip is an excellent opportunity for our young explorers to connect with the wonders of the natural world and reinforce their classroom learning. We can't wait to see the excitement on their faces as they uncover the mysteries of the past and the beauty of the present.

We encourage all eligible students to participate in this enriching outing. If you haven't done so already, please sign and have your child return the permission form linked below along with the field trip fee by Tuesday, October 10th. The cost of this will be $20 for each student. We will transport your child to and from the school by passenger vans driven by WCA staff.
